How are Harry potter eBooks formatted?

Harry Potter eBooks are supplied as EPUB files, the world’s most popular and open eBook standard, which can be read on most computers, tablets, eReaders and mobile phones. EPUB file sizes vary depending on their content, but your Harry Potter eBooks should each be around 1-2MB. Our eBooks are also compatible with Amazon Kindle and other leading devices.

The Harry Potter Japanese eBooks are supplied as EPUB3 files which are compatible with eReader devices purchased in Japan or any other EPUB3 compatible device that has Japanese font and vertical text enabled. The Japanese eBooks are also available as Amazon Kindle Books for reading on Amazon Kindle Fire, Fire HD and Paperwhite devices and Free Kindle Reading Apps for Android and selected Apple products.

You can download an eBook sample to your computer before purchasing it, which will let you check that the EPUB file displays properly. Simply click the 'Download a sample to your computer' button on any eBook page to read an excerpt - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is a great place to start.
